Growing up as a black, queer artist in Texas it was always a little harder to find my voice and feel comfortable sharing my creations. I started painting when I was in high school at a sip and paint with my family, I had no intention of falling in love with it the way I did. It was not until my college years that I started showing people outside of my family my art, hosting small viewing parties and posting my creative process online allowed me to have an actual audience to bounce ideas off of and receive both praise and critiques for my skills and make meaningful connects with others based off of a shared curiosity. Shortly after I started to brain storm painting and art based groups with other artist in Austin who shared my passion, I began to work on year long projects that had people stunned and talking about what to expect next. Well here is what's next, I want to create a space for others like myself and like the individuals I have shared my experience with along the way.
